Aspiring Miami-Dade County high school students will take part in an audition process in order to attend this FREE six-week summer workshop. Students will be selected based on their passion and willingness to learn filmmaking in any of the roles on a film set: Producing, Directing, Set Design, Storyboards, Audio, Photography, Lighting, Style, Hair & Make Up, Catering, Editing, etc.

Campers will play an integral role in the production of the music video. They will collectively comprise the idea for the video, and then learn through the professionals how to execute that idea onto film. They will learn how to properly prepare for a shoot: location scouting and permit, casting, choreography (if need be), set design and build, tech scout, and create a detailed shot list. On the day of the shoot, each student will shadow experienced crewmembers on the set. THIS WILL BE HANDS ON. It will be the kids who are calling out “roll” “action” and “cut!”
